You're probably thinking of satyr. Satire, on the other hand, is Shirley's obnoxious brother.

Won't buy a K-3 as long as he's in the thread title!
satyrs are kinds of butterflies . . .

Sorry, Juvenal was the Roman satirist. Late first century. Rome - so debauched it fell over - even if it took another couple of centuries.

Nothing special to say other than this is post 11,111 for me ... and I wanted it to be here, despite this new Satire character.

Kind of gives me that warm fuzzy feeling like when the car's odometer hits 11,111 or 22,222 or 33,333 ... etc.

Too busy racking up km's, so that's ... "why I won't buy a K-3" !!!
I got out and took a photo (sorry for going off topic) of my first car when it got to 100,000. A Mazda 1300 1974 model (quite rare), number plate SRA-639. I bought it second hand for $1400, did some work on it ($200), changed the tyres, drove it for a year and traded it in and got $1800, the original asking price when I bought it. BTW: the 100,000 clocked over about halfway along the Karoonda-Loxton road, and there was a farmer ploughing his field in the background. Picture taken with MX (forgot the lens, but whatever it was I still have it) on Kodachrome 64.

I forgot the article, I should have said The Satire is the Scottish flag.

A puns and wordplay is what we've devolved the thread into, correct?

Yes, but don't worry. I'm sure we can sink even lower.

Not to worry about the dark, Jean. The little LEDs on the front create a really bright, digital waterfall spelling out the word hociR. Or that other blasphemous word if you like reading from bottom to top. It's the envy of all those other camera manufacturers and sure to increase brand recognition. Or increase fear and paranoia.
(Just wait 'till the OP sees THAT!)

Well, yeah, that's true enough, but about several dozen million other people apparently agree with me. :P T'aint just me that thinks his butt is fine. The paparazzi follow him constantly. The man walks through an airport and barely 5 minutes later all the social media platforms explode and there are at least 50 dozen pics of how well his sweatpants fit that day. I wish I was kidding, it's pretty pathetic, but I'm not. This the NSFW link of the pic his pals took of him nearly freezing said assets off as a joke. It's all over the internet. It's also on my fridge, because I think it's hilarious that he can laugh at it all and prank back the people who practically live to see his pretty behind. I like the guy for more than his looks. He's got a decent brain, cares deeply about the ecosystem and he's got a great sense of humor besides...

He's not got it as bad as Benedict Cumberbatch. That poor man cannot even breathe lately sans swarms of paparazzi snapping away, but it's pretty bad...LOL

I have a friend who says that about Cumberbatch. Her husband has reason to worry. She works in the film industry and might actually meet the man soon. She might be on the same set soon with him if they cast him, which is likely. He says that if he does take the job working on that film he's going to be on set every day. They've been married for like 20 plus years and FYI, they're as faithful as it gets, very devoted couple, but he's taking no chances, lol.
