...and when it hits bottom it will be a little bit like that movie "Inception" and we will all move backwards through multiple layers of dream to find ourselves in some tawdry room somewhere in N. Africa...or perhaps Tokyo or Cleveland.

Definitely! I have a K-3 (penance much to do), but have thought that a K-50 would be an excellent companion to help ward off the attacks of the vengeful film cameras.

If I'd posted that first post, I'd probably never post again here either.
A person can only take so much ridicule and humiliation.

726 pages of people refusing to take you seriously, forgetting a few serious posts at the start of the thread. By persons un-named <cough> laurenOE<cough>

No one could plan or on any way anticipate this thread.

That's almost as scary as my situation. Jr. High in the Berkeley, CA area in the late 60s.

Ah, not-so-fond memories of those days. Must have had something to do with the Pentagon (Ground Zero?) being only 2.7 miles away. Even the livE hociR wouldn't have stood a chance.

Des Moines was on the first strike list because we were a refueling stop for SAC. So no point even worrying, there was enough ordinance pointed at us that any precautions were moot.
