All those technorats and pixel peepers in PF will go off the deep trying to figure out what they missed. The first post should refer to the leap from the K3's 24 megapixels and the intermediary 30 megapixel to the new and improved 36 megapixel. We should be able to entice at least 79 authorities who don't even own an original K5 to leap in with editorial length dissertations on why/why not it will be a success and why it will contribute to the rise/demise of the hociR.

Meanwhile:
G'night Shirley. May flights of hociRs sing thee to thy rest.
The pure genius of the contributions just keeps on shining. Clearly the collective IQ here could be harnessed, and made to operate in congress like one of those linked up supercomputers, no?

This tread is just getting weirder by the day!

(And somewhere, in some little dark office in Washington, there's an official looking for coded hidden meanings in all of this!)

This from a land where there is a recurring hoax to ban the substance dihydrogen monoxide. And where government representatives of New Zealand have expressed support for this ban on more than one occasion.

I know! Sad, indeed. Luckily, said government representative has been demoted and am presumably still gazing into their glass of water!

In Connecticut they take a photograph of the License Plate of every passing car at certain places. They retain over 30,000,000 of these in their database.

What on earth do they need 30,000,000 License Plate photos for?

Are they possibly looking for violators of CCK without a permit Laws?*

30 million's quite a big number. I wonder if one could swap plates and confuse them?

But Connecticut only has 3 million registered vehicles and 3.5 million people. Maybe a few friends and family visiting from Rhode Island for Thanksgiving?

That's kinda the point - why do they need a License Plate photo of people driving I-84 between Boston and New York?
