So if I read this correctly, both nations talk tough on the rugby field but your National dish(es) celebrate dancing around on your tippy toes in tutus.

Good point, perhaps.

NZ has at least one redeeming feature.

btw I know you play rugby better than us. (I think that applies whether you claim NZ or SA heritage?!)
I'm not a fan, but today I was talking to a big Maori friend of mine (I have ONE) and a mutual friend butted in to advise us that union was a game for thugs played by gentlemen, and league was a game for thugs played by thugs. How does this sit with you?
Well Rod, I'm probably the only one here who's a bit over the Haka before every rugby match and before anything else for that matter. I'm much more interested in football (soccer) than rugby, whether that be league or union or those strange Ausie rules!

I'm very much a SA Cricket supporter, but as for the rugby, we tend to confuse the kids (as to loyalties of the day) as we support SA when they play anyone and support the AB's when they play anyone other than the Sprinkboks!

So far in International, it's AB's 4 and Canada 0. After the haka in the last match about a year ago, half the Canadian squad was in the locker room changing their undies when New Zealand scored first points. Same with Aussie tours. Gotta admire the way you chaps play games.

So Mark. I think that you have revealed yourself to be an ex-pat SA living in NZ (I can be a bit slow sometimes).
I can't imagine what your accent is like!

You need to do something about your sporting loyalties though: you can't confuse your kids like that.
It has to be all or nothing! (But which one could you describe as all? NZ or SA? - neither of them are Oz!!)

Oh, that's sad. Clearly, that's why the do it - to intimidate the other teams!

We went to the France vs AllBlacks final in the last Rugby World Cup. That was quite a spirited performance.

You've hit the nail on the head, Rod. Those of us who are not living in Perth are all living here!
As for accent - Let's just say it's not an Aussie accent, mate!
No, as said, sporting loyalties are a mixed bag for us. Netball - NZ. Rugby - RSA, or NZ, as the case may be. Football (Soccer) - NZ. Cricket - RSA. Softball - NZ. Athletics - NZ.

Quite funny when you travel on two passports - tends to confuse some border officials.

OK - What's a "shoe moulding"?
And yes, can;t agree with you more - re. bacon and K-3 girls! That can be your colouring in theme!

But would it last. Someone would have to nibble off all that bacon wrapping - couldn't have it to go to waste. It's BACON.

Under 550 dollars BNIB? That clearly is not a photographic purchase here in Oz: there is nothing worthwhile for under 550.

correction; I did buy a DA35 Ltd for $549. But it couldn't be that - there is nowhere to fit a battery grip!
