It would certainly help them understand the structure of their logic system.

Speaking of it, I'm going to make one now.

You do realise that when tea first took hold in your islands that the style of tea was green.

Do we need to have another Tea Party in Boston Harbor?

:bonk:
They are probably the most complete and definitive repository of the wisdom of the Pentax Forums. Nowhere else is the depth of reasoning of the members of this site exposed with such candor and accuracy.

Pity us...

---------- Post added 12-07-14 at 11:42 AM ----------

I tried this week to order igunaq from an Inuit trading post Web site. My intent was as a votive offering to the hociR and the means to repel the 'possums from my garbage can. UPS was OK with shipping it, but the Department of Homeland Security stopped the package at the border and now I am on the "no fly" list.

The 'possums are happy, the hociR is not placated (no FF for you!), the Inuit villagers are now listed as a terrorist group, and I will have to take the train if I want to go to California.

It is the fault of the igunaq.

Feel free - but be careful to advertise it properly, otherwise it'll attract all sorts of people who have a different tea party in mind

Yep - and didn't work out. Shouldn't stray into politics here though

I must admit I'm not even British, I just happen to live here - but the spirit has caught on

You will know the conversion is complete when you wake in the middle of the night craving haggis.

As someone who doesn't eat meat and has therefore never tried haggis, that is rather unlikely

I did however once make some tea shortly before I had to leave the house to meet people at uni - the tea wouldn't cool down fast enough, so I could consume only half and then made off, still not making it in time. Wasting tea and being late resulted in the sudden epiphany that I make both a horrible British person and a horrible German. What has come of me?!

And liver and kidney, don't forget them unless it's the vegetarian version.

How would sheep innards ever be vegetarian?

Darned if I know. 'Twas Steve that posted the Veggie version. Probably rates right up there with soy-based bacon bits. If this thread gets off-track and off-topic, it'll be all his fault.

Can't blame Steve for that. The Grand Moderators' Council have met and the blame for the direction (?) this thread has taken has been sheeted home to none other than Parallax, the mod.
It is generous of him to take the blame for us, isn't it?
From an earlier post we understand that the motion to blame "our Jim" was moved by an Australian, Ash, for which we Aussies can be deeply ashamed.
