I took a several day break from PF and returned to find that the freshest thread on the sight has spiraled into the black hole of knock-knock jokes and weak beer. I am dismayed...the hociR has triumphed.

It's pure coincidence, thinking you can stop this thread from going anywhere but back on topic, is a big mistake

Oops, I wasn't actually doing a new round of knock-knock joke... I was trying to make a reference to the world's shortest sci-fi story...

"The last man on Earth sat reading in his living room. Then came a knock on the door..."

Yup, that's our beer. Tales from the other side of the great ocean suggest that over there water coloured yellow is labelled as beer?!

This is a true story but it is only consumed by small women and large men pretending to lose weight.

The rest of us bacon eaters stay clear of anything except brown colored water.

That would be coffee in my case. I can't have beer because it contains wheat, barley, and rye. Tastes nasty and smells worse too.

Personally my alcohol of choice is either mudslides or margaritas. And steak, lovely steak. With a side of bacon.

Unfortunately Canada is no longer immune. It now pours over our borders like a tsunami. We use Coors Light up here to cut the harsh taste of Ginger Ale or Soda water.
