I knew someone once who decorated his yard with those. No kidding. They were made out of metal too. He made a small fleet of them himself and put them all over the yard along with a police box. He'd move them around, change the landscape around all the time. The kids in the neighborhood loved them. His kids playhouse was one of those old flying saucer houses that he'd gotten off Ebay and fixed up for them. They own their land it's a pretty rural location so I guess he can do whatever he wants. He was always doing something odd for decorating, for fun but mostly except for Halloween and Christmas time it was sci-fi related stuff.

Wait, no stop! I thought we were going back to beer!
Lagunitas Little Sumpin', by the way, is hands down the best IPA I've ever had.

I used to get Sierra Nevada Stout. Chico, CA) It was one of my favorites , but the stores here quit carrying it. Then they started carrying Anchor (S.F., CA). I have always liked Anchor Steam, so when Anchor beers showed up here I tried their Porter. I really liked it so naturally they quit that, too.

Oh, I hate tetra packs. Is it just a glass bottle ban, or a total bottle ban? (You could decant, I suppose)
No glass, no metal food containers, you are allowed fuel canisters. So if you're going to decant into a plastic bottle, why not just take a tetra pack? Besides, the tetra packs squash down to be transported out. Beer is in-firiggin possible. Wine with it'12% alcohol is good for freezing and using for ice packs. Beer, there's be just no excuse for taking that kind of weight. Freezing girly vodka drinks in plastic bottles is better.

Speaking of freezing, you are probably on very thin ice with that phrase, Norm.

I drink 'em! Can't have beer due to celiac. Not that I was concerned because before I knew that it tasted bitter and was like pouring drano down me. It unclogged everything in a gassy explosion within a couple hours.

I might be sailing too close to the wind here, but perhaps the mod won't notice.
This post is a little too close to being on topic:
There is a new thread started which may just mean this thread is finished.

Does that mean we succeeded, or we need to find something else to gripe about?

We won't know if we have succeeded until the production model hits the market (and even then, we may have had no influence at all!?)
For a good gripe, we might have to go over to one of the various FF threads.
