I agree. Playing baseball and watching baseball are two totally different things.

and look at the size of the crowd!

Actually, they only sell tickets for concert side. there probably about 40,000 there that night.
Largest crowd I had the "joy" of performing in front of was about 30.000.

Let the students out on holiday and use the dorms to house the attendees

Haha, Petter Northug on my floor? :P

We don't really have dorms, though. The student welfare association has a bunch of apartment buildings that they rent out cheap to students, but (at least up here) a lot of people end up living privately as well.

Our son was a tuba/sousaphone player in marching band in high school and continued in college (Iowa State, go 'Clones! ). Some of the larger competitions at "Bands of America" will fill a stadium, and of course there are lots of people coming to see the college bands perform every weekend, with football being played before and after the real show. They sold out the ISU stadium just about every show for 4 yrs solid! I've heard the Blue Devils are pretty good too.

The way things have been going in the world of sports recentöy I wouldn't be surprised if the Winter Olympics 2022 are to be held in Abu Dhabi.
