K10D has PENTAX Corporation (technically another corporate name) printed on the bottom, but I believe you are correct about the Super PROGRAM. I actually found my own PF photo on the web (Scary!).

I figured out why all this Ricoh business bugs some Pentaxians. Back in the glory days Pentax was the popular kid and Ricoh was the geek trying to be like the popular kid, adopting the style(K-mount). Now the popular kid has grown up to be a worker at big corporation, solid and dependable but no longer chased after by cheerleaders!!! One day he finds out the geek is really rich and now owns him!! The popular kid can be so again, but he has to give credit to the now rich geek for making it happen!! Since I was also a geek in school, this is no problem for me!!

But if you were popular, then this might be a real sticking point.

And I'll switch my "Pentax under the LCD" K-5 (kit with a green ring 18-55) with a brand new "Ricoh" K-3 plus the complete set of "Ricoh"-red DA Limiteds. First come, first served.

Please advise: I've just discovered something awful. I've purchased a Ricoh GR and it was delivered today. Upon unboxing it I saw a label on the bottom stating "Pentax Ricoh Imaging Co.Ltd." and it seems to be "Made in China" to add insult to injurie! Do you all think I should ditch it?

Both the 67 and the MESuper are stamper "Asahi Optical Co., Japan" on the rear of the top plate to the right of the viewfinder.

No, we're talking about a litmus test of purity, as some here seem only willing to purchase 100% pure Pentax cameras.
