I spent a lot of money on the K5. It is an excellent camera capable of top results and I still owe it the opportunity to do it justice. It has had stood up well so far, the LCD screen is a bit scratched but it otherwise is in fine fettle. I will think about retiring my K5 once I have run it into the ground. I have no fickle to plans to abandon it for a younger model, it deserves better than that.

And that makes it worthwhile, a laugh or smile is a thing to be treasured....

I'm excited to see what Pentax Dude's next post will be. It is twenty-seven pages so far and he has only posted once. I'm sure he's saving up some ammo for an onslaught about page 56 . Just have to keep it going till then.

I think the next time we hear from PentaxDude he will say he won't buy the Pentax FF because Ricoh is printed somewhere on the camera.

Then again, it might just be popcorn time if Pentax releases a Full Frame camera and Ricoh is featured prominently.

He is a quiet sort of fellow. From his profile, it appears that he only posts every year or so. It could be a long wait.

It might be a struggle to keep this going for a year but I am sure it will be worth effort for when he comes back.....

not only is it on the box but it's on the back of the camera too! Oh noes!

Actually, one small irritation... on flickr the K3 is listed as Ricoh product not as a Pentax product. I do understand, yes, Pentax is now just a Ricoh product line... but dang nabit!

Oh well, I'm enjoying my "Ricoh IMAGING COMPANY, LTD. Pentax K-3"
