You choose the wrong guy to pick on... I actually like Ricoh brand

I have more Ricoh cameras that I have Pentax (from film days).

Why I won't buy a K3.

Because I just bought a K5-II a couple of months ago and I appear to be coming down with LBA.
If I turned around and bought another body now, my wife would most probably kill me. It does look pretty good though.....

Yep, that's a page outta my play book! Took me a couple of years to talk her out of her beloved K2000 though. Had to promise to give it to her sister.

Unfortunately my missus has no interest in photography apart from occasionally suggesting a subject for me to photograph.
To give you an idea of where she stands with cameras, she has commented in the past that my Fuji superzoom was too large and complicated for her to use.

The positive side of her lack of interest would be she wouldn't notice the difference if I got a K3 and hid the K5.
