I suspect he got stuck in a copier when the glass broke on a RICOH copier while he was trying to photocopy his rear end at an office Christmas party, but I could be wrong.
My apologies for being a couple of pages behind (it is hard to keep up!)...
Why would the OP try and copy his rear end? He has RICOH printed on it!

Given his apparent commitment I'd be very disappointed if he doesn't have Pentax tattooed across both cheeks

Would photocopying your Pentax butt tattoo on a Ricoh copier be appropriate, or a pointed comment about the commercialization of imaging equipment.

It would totally ruin the experience

And probably the equipment too

I've just realised that I may have proven the O.P's argument.

Tattooing 'Pentax' on your butt works.....'pen'.....'tax' artistically sound.

Can't do that with Nikon or Canon...no sir, those five letter words just don't work on the average butt. No symmetry you see...

So that also applies to Ricoh....five letter word again....

So had the OP declared he was never going to buy a Ricoh branded Pentax because of the butt tattoo incompatibility issues I'd have been...err... right behind him on this one and this thread may never have reached this legendary status.

Watch it, you're getting dangerously close to on-topic here!

Hm, it wouldn't be symmetric, but couldn't "Ric" on one half and "h" on the other work?

I knew someone would go there.
It doesn't work I'm afraid.

If, like me, you occasionally find yourself standing for the national anthem while inadvertently naked, you would simply be observed from the aft direction with the word 'rich' across your buttocks.

And then we are back at boarding school all over again

Mind you better than 'cann'

This line of thought also explains why hasselblad owners have that pained expression, I thought it was just the price.

Actually a 5 letter word will work just fine as well... the only difference is that the middle letter will be... well... way up there in between the cheeks .

I think 'Canon' or 'Nikon' is usually worn higher, as a "tramp stamp" - a practice actually begun in the 70s when 'AS*AHI' and didn't work out as intended, and became 'Asahi' over 'PEN*TAX' (The 'AOCo' logo wasn't much better).

Note also the common shortening of 'FUJIFILM' to just 'FUJI' - no tolerance for pain.

Good point.

(Although I am increasingly confused by what 'family' means, since every 'family' movie has to have some potty humor thrown in for the kids.)
