I'm ready to start believing in Santa again, if only he will leave a similar gift on my doorstep...
Though I have a feeling it could only happen with a corresponding decrease of my bank account.

Santa told him to make sure he knew how to use it for Christmas morning.

Haven't decided yet.

I still haven't even pulled the tab on the lid (but I put my K-01 battery in the charger before I left for work, just in case ).

In my case the corresponding decrease will just apply to lenses.

It should take 7 days to learn how to use it for Christmas morning, don't you think?

Seriously - the senders just said it better be out of the box tonight or I'm in big trouble. If they'd wanted me to wait they wouid have added Christmas wrap.

I vaguely remember a thread about that somewhere a while back. What ever happened to that?

Has anyone ever noticed that Santa promises things and brings things but he never, ever pays for one damned gift. Shame on Santa and all his decrepit little elves.

OK Amy. You talked me into it. You're right - I'll do the unboxing thread tonight.

This is all just a bit overwhelming.

This was truly a gift. A very thoughtful gift made by people who appreciate something I did that I didn't have to do, didn't expect anything for doing and never asked for credit after doing it. They, I'm sure, want me to open it and use it right away - I just needed a day to get my head around it.

Merry Christmas, huh? Kinda restores faith in the heart of man.

That's by far the best kind of gift there is, for the giver and the recipient both.

Not sure. I lost track trying to follow up on the cheese and bacon. Then I found out Canadian Bacon really isn't Canadian and I've been a little depressed ever since.

Good to have friends that appreciate you. And even better to be the kind of person that earns those friends. Get it out of that box and take it for a spin.

Darn, that makes monochrome perhaps the only person who has a legitimate reason for not buying a k-3.
