The wind is gusting up to 50 kph, the wind chill is in the low -30's C, it's pitch black and the sun set at 2:00. You go out and take pictures.

Thanks for the warming thoughts but you need wood to build a fire and the nearest tree is probably 700 miles from here

Fake log, gas log, even a dvd with a fire on it!! Use whatever you can!!I spent years using a radiant kerosene heater as a portable fireplace !! it was awesome!!

Compared to the physcological circus that is my extended family during the holidays, this thread is a breath of normalcy!!
And no I'm not buying a K-3 because if ever I can I'm going for the K-50
