So you mean this thread almost bought the K-3, but squeaked by to grow ever longer by the assimilation of cheese products?

Ash, sometimes GT on an unrelated thread promotes member loyalty and cohesion. If the thread moves to GT, okay. To keep this thread honest

, every post should start with why you will or won't buy a K-3! After that you can say anything you want to say!
Example: I wont buy a K-3 because it's -10 and my dog lifted his leg and froze to the fence!

That reminds me of a principal I once worked for. She had a PhD in education but everyone called her Pat... at some point she decided she wanted to be called Doctor Devreaux. She was so insistent, it seemed we had to do something, so in her presence every one called everyone doctor. So I'd walk into the office and any other teacher who happened to be there would say "Dr. Head how are you today." In I'd say "fine Dr. Smith, and how are you?"

Oh ya, and I'm not buying a K3 because I've already got one.

Another thought, I won't buy a K-3 because there might be a Pentax full frame coming... but then again, what if they put out a K-mount FF camera, but it says Ricoh on it and not Pentax?

The K3 is the worst Cropped sensor camera ever. except for all the others. And the lens selection is only around 250 F-mount lenses ( help on the number, as I am overwhelmed contemplating old Asahi Pentax MF lenses and want them all in true Lens Lust style). The K3 delivers poor low light focus, except for all the others. And the lack of an AA filter makes the images too clear for my Epson Stylus Photo so I have to upload to B&H and wait for crumpled prints to arrive with belated apologies.

And of course, Aussie shepherd dogs are the cutest little blue eyed maniacs since Bo Derek.

Yeah - I was going to buy a K5II for $595 but that little plan sure got messed up. Now I just about have to save my money for Photokina.
