That's it. A eureka momen! We could bomb Tokyo with cheese covered cotton balls. Or sit naked in trees. In the absence of any psychiatrists, perhaps a moderator could step in and declare us all to be insane if only we had the insanity to ask. Which would be both sane and insane, the key to Catch 22.
(Which is, of course, why I did buy a K3. To record the bombing of Tokyo. I just didn't have the prescience to know it at the time.)

Igunaq is fermented walrus or polar bear meat buried in permafrost for storage by Innuit hunters (wickepedia et al.). There is no equivalent deli meat in the lower 48. Fermentation, aka "aging" is done to animal flesh in many cultures. Wild game is "hung" to tenderize it. Grouse,,ducks, and other game birds are routinely "hung" in a cool place to tenderize the meat. Venison is also aged in this way at temps about like a refrigerator. Deep freezing of animal flesh for months in permafrost appears to be an arctic circle practice. My folks came from north of Tromso in Norway and from far northern Finland where there are few towns to identify origins.

Iqunaq is a wonderful method to preserve walrus or other animal flesh without mechanical refrigeration.

Excellent, we may be related. By the way, Lutefisk and Mammi were discussed several pages back...

Reindeer meat, on the other hand, is delicious.

I think the joke was a panda eats shoots and leaves...not that you could repeat the joke in a PG forum or anything like that so don't ask.

5am this morning, 14℉ & the power goes out. Didn't come back until 10:30am. Thanks APCO!

I won't buy a k-3 because it's too cold to use it.

It's always fun when we get a real cold snap / ice storm to go outside and listen to the transformers going "boom!" Looks like we got off light in NC - 9℉ this morning, but it's already zoomed up to 26℉.

The funny thing is: last month, I went up to MassACHOO!setts, was wearing the same clothes in 15℉, and was fine. Here at home, I'm COLD. Life is all about expectations.

And that's why I won't buy a K-3.

Searching for all my life, I guess.
I have been search for a life and have not found it on this thread. I have determined that not buying a K-3 is something I can manage, however and am pleased by my progress towards that goal.

K2 is also a brand of outdoor gear made in Vashon Island, Washington, particularly skis. The people on Vashon exist almost exclusively on Yeti milk. I ski on Salomon and that is another reason why I will not buy a K-3.

(...have owned several pairs of K2 skis...nice gear...)

I will not buy a K3 until they offer it in yellow with holes drilled through it to resemble cheese.

Catch 22.
The Catch 22 here is that to not want to buy a K-3 would be insane, but to buy one would result in the ultimate destruction of Tokyo and the worldwide dissemination of Yeti cheese. That too is insane.

Am I making myself clear yet why I should not buy a K-3?

Tokyo will not be bombed. It will be eaten by large radioactive lizards, faithful minions of the evil Ricoh.
