I won't buy a k-3 because it's too cold to use it.
We've used our K series cameras in colder than that lots of times, go ahead and buy it. Usually the batteries don't last as long, that's the only issue. We've used ours as low as -30 Cetigrade, so -10 F... no problem. The camera will work, but the cheese will freeze.

But back on topic; is the moon half full or half empty tonight?
(Yes, yes, I know it's waxing but that's not the point. Pedant.)
Tonight, it's cloudy. Not the moon itself, but between me and the sky, which may have the moon in it right now. And it's not tonight yet, at least for me. Maybe it is for you. So I can't see the moon to verify the half full or half empty. But full or empty of what - cheese? Anyone else have an answer?

Somewhere in there is a good reason not to buy a K-3.

You mean they named a whole city after you? When Ricoh tried to name a little piece of camera equipment after themselves, the sky fell, massive blizzards shut-down the whole eastern half of North America and turned the Canadian Prairies and the U.S. Mid-West into the world's largest Popsicle. Not to speak of what it did to bacon and cheese.

Of course it's night. It's dark out there for near on 20 hours a day now. Those darned longuitudes.

But yeah, cheese, what else? But cloudy cheese? Think I'll pass...

Or cloudy reasons for not buying a K-3?

Right, would it be optimistic or pessimistic to view the moon as half full? Would it depend on one being a werewolf or not?

Oui, Oui, Oui ... I am a very "special" person (just ask my co-workers or my French wife, no ... on second thought, don't ask them) and please don't get me started about cheese ... or wine either, J

I won't buy a K-3 until after this thread reaches 3000 posts. (That'll hold for a day or two.)

. . . and Spring arrives. (Ahh, that's more like it.)

I wasn't implying it was too cold for the camera, rather the photographer!

Time to fire up the hottub and do your outdoor photo work from there!!! I only have a baby pool, but maybe if I drop a stock heater in I'll be good to go!!
