My theory is(today anyway) that he became so despondent that he swam to Paris and threw himself off the Eiffel tower!

Hell, we were trying to get out of Paris at 5 Pm, got stuck in a round-about on the 5th inside most lane, in a Ford camper. Wanted to do the same jumping thing.

Pity! This one is so much fun, it would be good for the OP to return and do another!

I'm not sure the forum could survive another thread like this.

You beat me to it...I was about to inform the rest of the inmates that a new Godzilla movie is coming, saw a teeny, too-short trailer at the movie theater recently. Spoiler alert: did not look like a guy in a rubber suit stomping on stuff... it was too short a clip to notice whether or not Hocir did any cameos...

Ah, sounds like a smooth ride, where you avoided the usual Parisian rush-hour traffic jams....

Didn't see anything in his claws (paws?) to suggest it, but he was sure belching something offensive. Who knew Godzilla is lactose-intolerant, too?

I noticed this signature tag on one of the other member's signature:

Looks like they have plenty of gaffer's tape.

Smooth ride my butt. They all had a death-wish, driving those Peugeot and Citroen's, wanting to wheel-chock a diesel Ford camper seven times their size.
We made it out of there, because we cared less than they did.

Yes indeed. The famed thermo-nuclear death breath.

Kinda like my roommate when I was in college. From this far away, too.

That belongs to crewl1, one of the finest of the Q artisans on the Forum. Specialist in DA*300 work with the K>Q adapter, Pentax Red Dot Finder adapted from the Sport Optics department and a Wimberley head.

He stops by here every so often.

We have rush-hour traffic jams in Poitiers, too ... a traffic jam here is where it takes more then one traffic light cycle to get through an intersection ... horrid, unbearable events ... Paris traffic jams are for "sissies", by comparison J

PS - this is how the life-long natives of Poitiers feel ... they make me smile, since I lived almost 8 years in Paris ...

PPS - I just went back and actually read the OP's original message ... "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away", this thread could of had a real purpose ... but nah, let the sillyness reign on ... to quote Marlon Brando yet again, "The HOCIR! The HOCIR! ..." oops, mixing up films now ...

If he's lactose intolerant, I'd be worrying about the other end too!! Talk about WMD!!!

A traffic jam in Wyoming.

West Texas.

The Mohave Desert.

Sometimes I wonder if a K3 with Hocir on it might help relieve the the stress caused by all that traffic.
