For purpose-ful discussions of the Ricoh logo on the K-3, see the "I fixed my K-3" thread, or the one before that, or the one before that...The OP's crime was to rant n' run, on a topic that was already well-worn. For that, the only remedy is cheese. Lots and lots of cheese. Mmm, cheese...

At least one of those threads was tongue-in-cheek by a user who has three Hocir cameras and her husband has a fourth. And she posts update threads showing her sophisticated rigs producing real, commercial still and video output with her Hocir cameras for real, American money.

So she's singing in the Choir, but it's the contrapuntal voice.

Smooth ride my butt. They all had a death-wish, driving those Peugeot and Citroen's, wanting to wheel-chock a diesel Ford camper seven times their size.
We made it out of there, because we cared less than they did.

Like this.

Your speed is ZERO.

But the next one is even more stressful.

What is scary is that this dope is likely loaded to 80,000lbs, and with the trailer suspension compromised he places every motorist on the road at risk.

Now that is stressful.

We had a joker like that! He came around the on ramp with a full load of paper rolls. The big ones, not properly secured in the trailer. They shifted and rolled the trailer, then the paper all busts out and starts wrecking cars!! Ala Godzilla!!!

...at least if you believe the rants. A huge reason not to buy a K-3.

So you know first hand just how flimsy those trailer walls are then.

De-icing with cheese.
Nice but not enough to make me invest in the K3, just yet.
