They just don't have a taste for our flavor of crazy (mostly bacon-cheddar).

No! We are the light at the end of the tunnel for all mankind. Or at least PF.

Are we an oncoming train? Or just a train wreck waiting to happen?

Truth, as in the the tunnel of Plato's cave, must be experienced rather than told because language fails to convey belief. This theme is a constant in R***h's work. Language is the barest shadow of reality, and people who are firmly committed to a cheese and bacon view often echo this statement — faith in R***h having a plan can’t be given to other people, but must be experienced to be known.

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/94-pentax-price-watch/248503-k3-body-only...lf-1059-a.html

i'm still not buying a K3 at that price. Maybe if I wait 3 years it will be ~500.

But then there'd be a K1 or something, so I still wouldn't buy a k3.

maybe we need a "Why I won't buy a Pentax FF camera" thread?

maybe we need a "why i'll never eat cheez wiz again" thread?

We are not off-topic! There are many reasons why one should not purchase a K-3 and many of those have to do with cheese, beer, fast cars, Tokyo, and Hocir!!!

More like a train wreck that already happened.

It is possible to be a Pentax user, without acknowledging the existence of Ricoh. You just need black electrical tape.

I thought we were leading people out of the Canonite and Nikonite wilderness. Apparently someone has now created a Ricohnite wilderness. Come to the promised land of Pentax I say.

I know. Some of the most enjoyable experiences I have had were while snow skiing.

Can't do that without snow.

Can I become ordained via an ad in the back of Rolling Stone magazine?

I'm still grappling with the philosophical implications of creating a wilderness, that wasn't there before.
