We don't see many possum up here so my question is "Which is the best cut to use - fresh side of possum or sun-dried from the shoulder of the highway?" I imagine the latter is somewhat pre-tenderised.

Possum presents as road kill. Road kill of other species offer an entire new universe for smoked meat, I.e. bacon. Although I have read that road kill armadillos in Texas should be shunned because of a wierd disease they harbor.

I have never seen a road killed crow and they use rural highways as their supermarket.

Again, I show up after several days, and can only stop and shake my head. I don't know whether to turn and walk back out the door or wait to see what happens next. Possum? What, did we run out of cheese?

They are working on putting the cheese to the possum.

Okay, I'll catch you up. If you put Cheeze-wiz on a possum's head he'll commit suicide by running in front of a car, then you pick up the roadkill so you can have a possum bacon and lutefisk samich. (possum bacon, not possum and bacon, because that would just be wierd)

Not my fault. I didn't start the possum bit; I was quietly minding my own business, scraping the"R" word off the back of a DSLR when the topic changed. And as I noted we don't even have possums up here. Possum Lodge, yes. Possums, no.
As we say at the Lodge, "Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati"

It says "real cheese" on the front, so we should be good.

My daughter raised an orphaned possum until he was big enough to fend for himself. They have a nasty, musky smell. Never had the desire to find out what he tasted like. I wonder if cheese and lutefisk were the cause of his odor?

Are possum chips like cow or buffalo chips? I know you can make a fire with the latter for melting Velveeta but ....

At least we are talking about the K3. This camera is now legendary for the breadth of posts. But I will not buy it. Yet.

When ALL ELSE FAILS, play dead! I know 'cause I'm a man and I can change, if I have to, I guess.
