Thanks. But how do I recover from purchase remorse after buying the lesser camera body? This is quite complicated.
Have you not been reading this thread??? Besides, if it's good enough for MOD, it should be good enough for you

Yup. Take some lutefisk and bacon sandwiches with you. The food they serve at those events usually isn't very good.
He`s gonna need more than ludefisk! Might consider bringing a sled-team or skates, to get around.

Any advice? This may be why or why not I buy a K3. Cheese will be served at the reception in Savannah.
Buy the lens now. Take a $20 bill out of your wallet every Friday and put it in an envelope. Continue until the amount of money in the envelope and the 'Deal" price of a K3 intersect.

Y'all are gonna keep that K3 outta my hands, that's fer sure!
I love spending other people's money!
Seriously, I wanted that model since it was announced. I checked the prices daily and (not so) patiently waited. I have nothing against the K-3 and would be perfectly happy with one, but the K-5IIs was the one I REALLY wanted.

Dang!

I was going to add a few more and got this:
Yeah, tomorrow I'll see if I can edit out some of the less relevant tags like "K-3," and "k mount".

Why are you even here? I thought you'd still be digging out from the Blizzard of '14. Or at least volunteering at shelters for stranded, shivering possums.
It's not fit night out for (wo)man nor beast!

Translation, I haven't left my home since Monday. I probably won't leave my house tomorrow either.

I had the cash in the hand, destined to B&H.
The lack of high ISO performance might permanently keep me from getting the K3.
The camera has all the other angles covered.
This, being as depressing as it is. Will force me to have some Doritos dip (made with real cheese) and any kind of chips I can find.

Sure hope you made the bread, milk, cheese and TP run before it hit. Near as I can figure, that's what caused all the traffic mess; the mindless hordes stocking up on the bare necessities. You folks have made the CBC news - TV and radio - even up here. A little tongue -in-cheek but newsworthy. I'm hearing there's plans for a good old-fashioned neck-tie party for the Governor of Georgia 'cause he didn't warn folks far enough ahead. A least the National Guard's there to pitch in.

My family on Mom's side are Finns in northern Minnesota. Iron miners, poor farmers,on poor land, but the area looked like northern Finland. I grew up hearing Finnish spoken when adults wanted kids ignorant. Finnish flag on the wall in grandpa Tovinens house. Outside summer kitchen next to the year round sauna.

So far I have advice to buy the 21mm and pocket cash each week so I can get a K3. Disclaimer: cash hidden in sock to date equals lens cost but rate of increase is too slow. If I forgo the 21 and buy the K3, then I will have to pay $210 more for the HD21mm later when I need it. And,I will need it.

Please, this is about having the kit to capture my daughter's wedding and if,what I now own, with a K30, will work without adding the 21mm Ltd and/or the K3. Assume that cost is not an issue, because I will be in debt from this wedding until minotaurs rule.
