I held out one hour longer. My green stripe DA21 is on its way. Thanks to all, esp Parallax and Colbyt for getting me off the fence and into the snowbank.

why i won't buy a K3

Oh Boy. Adam just pre-announced a 'Posting Contest' with prizes for February.

The last time we had such a thing one result was, "I had a cheese sandwich" "Just wanted everyone to know."

Of course that thread died at Post #212.

Monochrome, The rules suggest volume trumps insight. Adam will surely beware of multiple thread posts of bacon and cheese stories. But we hapless fools out to win may flood this already swollen river that is the "will not buy a K3" thread. Ah, contests are like lottery prizes.

Not too bad. I ran your text through Google translate via Finnish and Yoruba back to English, and the result is somewhat worrying...

Suri on my iPhone translated it into "eat your potatoes and riches will ensue." Or maybe it was "be with Sue." Suri is somewhat unreliable unless asked about cheese shop locations closest to my current gps coordinates.

Uhhhhm, the cheese sandwich post was a sarcastic response to one Member who tried to artificially inflate his post count. NO ONE could stop said poster.

Plus, I'm joking. The 'Cheese Sandwich' link has lready been posted on this thread - that's the source of the entire cheese meme, in fact.

Hmm I have a big pot of mock potato soup. A cheese sandwich would actually go nicely!

And just because it's on the radio right now, what does the fox say?

Remember the thread he started titled something like "What do you do when you're an Internet drama queen?" LOL
I replied that you start threads with titles like "What do you do when you're an Internet drama queen".

I'm thinking that Adam has cooked this up to try and defuse this thread. Thing is, I think this thread has become a runaway train.

It certainly has kept me busy and distracted from buying a K3 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .but now I am more focused than ever on securing a K5IIs. If I can just get someone at B&H or Adorma to cut me the deal I want!

Why not just use real ones?

Thanks, but I'll Stick with marinated salmon and herring Mrs. Racer's family will bring us during the holidays.

And blueberry Jam.

Scones!

Mmmmm. . . . . . sound!

Still, I can not make love to wipe the K3.

(PS: I am confident that Google provides is not too much!)
Somewhat.

That and blueberry jam.

The scones!

Mmmmm. . . . . . tasty!

Still, I can not justify a K3 purchase.

Pretty close. The last line should read, "PS: I trust that Google translate does not butcher the language too much!)"

Well, yes, but keeping it within the family isn't much fun, is it?
Good point. Sometimes the journey is more interesting than the destination.

QuoteOriginally posted by savoche Quote
"Still, I can not make love to wipe the K3." is much more entertaining. Sort of...
Sorta like Chinglish.

Certainly gonna keep the K3 out of my hands for now.

The fox says, "Don't buy a K3!"
Fox does not speak. She chirps as a snarl, while marking her turf. Are all foxes in literature female? Certainly not in France, the home of fox stories.
