"Mock" potato?

Why not just use real ones?

Because we don't eat enough potatoes to buy potatoes, so I never have any. But I almost always have cauliflower. We mostly eat a lower carb diet. And I try to avoid HFCS because it makes my youngest one just that much worse. And artificial colors, preservatives, etc.

We Aussies wouldn't snicker!!
(Well, not much...)
But I do have a nephew who when very small used to say 'poor bear' every time Wily E blew up, or crashed into a canyon, or whatever.

HFCS = High Fructose Corn Syrup? Just checking. Hate the stuff myself.

Well, where have you been more important than this thread?

You have now noted the number of us who will not buy a K3. Yet.

Yes. It's one of the worst frankenfoods to ask your liver to try to process. Since we eat out WAY too much, I try to make sure that we eat real foods at home & not highly processed faux foods. We get enough fake stuff when we eat out.

Please remember that we are genetically predisposed to need this 'stuff'. The first homo erectus fossil discovered was in a fetal position, her arms enfolding a little pot of what looked like Eggos bathed in corn syrup.

Pretty close. The last line should read, "PS: I trust that Google translate does not butcher the language too much!)"
It did almost as good as you did.

Lol! Our brains are wired to crave certain flavor profiles because those flavors, found in naturally occurring food stuffs, provide us with nutrients our bodies require.

Fox does not speak. She chirps as a snarl, while marking her turf. Are all foxes in literature female? Certainly not in France, the home of fox stories.

I am not keen on it either. Yet find something in the grocery store that is not processed that does not contain it these days.

What is really scary is that about 75% of all arable land in North America is being dedicated to producing one of two crops. Soybeans and corn. What they don't turn into fuel they make into food.

Highly processed food.

For the masses.

And as you point out, not good for our bodies.

And that will make having a K3 pointless.

Given C2H60 in gas tanks and HFCS in everything else I wish I owned a few thousand acres of good Illinois or Iowa farmland.

Then I could buy a K3 and punt this HOCIR thread.

High FluoroCarbon Silicate. Is this what computer chips are made of. Could be bad to ones health?
One more reason to re-think the purchase of K3.
