You need the help of a psychologist, m'boy. She can help you define the difference between wants, needs, LBA and CBA. With some work and personal insight (might take a year or two), you will come to realise that CBA trumps LBA every time. However, in two years the new R***h FF will be out and you will be doomed to start over like Bill Murray in "Groundhog Day".
You, Pentax and Tokyo are doomed.

Snowing here, so that definitely means no K-3 before spring. Oh wait, K-3s aren't afraid of a little snow, are they? Well, that's a mystery - what are the K-3s waiting for? Anyone got a clue?

My sentiments exactly. I have been a Pentax user since my Spotmatic days. And lest we forget, Pentax is owned by Ricoh. My sole concern in buying the camera is that it meets my expectations for IQ and I am eagerly anticipating placing my cherished FA31 (and other primes) on the mount.

I agree. I've shot with Pentax gear fro 30 years, my K-5 does what I want it to, and will continue to serve my needs for a long time. If I had the money for a "spare" I'd consider a K-3, or a K-30/50. As long as it's weather sealed and rugged and takes K mounts, I'll be happy

I have never seen a road killed crow and they use rural highways as their supermarket.

In 1983 I hit a crow between Broken Hill and Wilcannia, on the long flat plain there - about half way. It was late afternoon. I got to Wilcannia about sunset. Stayed the night there. Never do that again. I always buy petrol at Broken Hill so I can make it the 450km to Cobar. Normally rains in Cobar - according to my experience - three times out of four visits.

...and both crow and roo have some of the same letters as Hocir. And that is why we ALL should not buy a K-3.
