Did I fix that for you? Or do you have garage space for all those cars?

My cousin built a cavernous garage that's big enough to park his Winnebago in one half, with a backhoe plus 3 other cars in various states of repair in the other half. He can play full court basketball if he moves the vehicles out
5 of them are in the shop, along with the Camaro, the Ford tractor and the Ram Dually pickup.

Poor darling! I don't understand why the whole order system shuts off at 5:01. They could let orders still go through and be waiting to fill when they reopen.

It is complex and historically driven. They are (I believe) Orthodox, and as they interpret their religion, accepting orders over the internet on the Sabbath which are then processed afterward, constitutes working on the Sabbath. Both B&H and Adorama are very clear about this on Fridays and Saturdays on their websites. They offer plenty of advance warning.

Many Orthodox don't drive on the Sabbath, either, and in many cases don't use electric lights. In my neighborhood growing up there were many temples, each within a walking distance radius of its members.

That's very conservative interpretation. I respect their decision. So far, I've only ordered once from B&H & haven't (yet) from Adorama.

I corrected my post - I think they're Orthodox. There is a logical justification but it is a real challenge to practice it in the modern world.
