I wouldn't go that far . . . . . .

He did seem to feel quite strongly about something that really isn't such a big deal.

But it is keeping many of us from getting a K3.

Beer.

Nature's perfect food.

No, wait.

That was honey.

Here, pick a beer, any beer.

And on topic, I dont see why its a big deal for it to say Ricoh on it, its a good camera that I can put K lenses on, still at its heart is a pentax. I am happy.
Just remember a Ricoh XR500 (pretty basic SLR) was what got me into K-mount club. By the time for my MX I already had two other lenses (one was adaptall2 the other a fixed K-mount) so I was locked into the system - no Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Fuji, Minolta, Leica, Konica, or almost anything else in those days would fit the extra lenses I had - so here I am.

" but be careful: if you start making posts just for the heck of it, you will be disqualified. "

For sure.

For me it was the XR2S.

And the rest is history!

I still am not getting a K3.

Not enough resolution... I'll take a stab in the dark: got any Tuborg, Guiness or Weihenstephan wheat beer in there?

Unless 4 or 5 more people "like" some of my posts in the next hour or so I'm gonna get a K3.

Yep, that is part of the allure of this thread. The OP is a little like DB Cooper...a legend of sorts whose destiny is linked with that of Tokyo and the future of cheese.
