It occurs to me that I haven't bought a K-3 yet. I did sell one of my K-5s, though, so that's a start.

In keeping with the "What does that have to do with anything" theme of the this thread:
"DB" was made up by a newspaper reporter because he thought it sounded better than just Dan Cooper, the name the hijacker used to purchase the airline ticket.

A start of not buying a K-3? Sounds like an odd way to do it.

And...

I don't think he was a true troll. I think he wanted to stir the pot a bit, but he forgot to factor in Murphy's Law and the Law of Unintended Consequences.

Ah, yes, the less known 28th and 29th amendment. Easy to forget.

Fortunately we don't have those laws over here, so nothing ever goes wrong.

Nothing. Should it?

I know!

And it still keeps the K3 out of my grubby mitts!

So does the fog and the darkness. Not much point in buying a K-3, is it.

I mean, what point is a camera that can focus in the dark when I can't see what I'm taking a picture of??

And a camera that works in freezing temperatures? Come on! Who wants to go out in those temperatures anyway?

Not me!

No sir!

... I see you found out how to undo likes.
Me?

Nope.

I've never, ever taken back a like. I think very carefully before liking anything or anyone. Likes are not to be thrown about carelessly you know.

This isn't FaceBookTwitterMySpaceHashttag, it is PentaxForums, the very best place for those who use or appreciate the very best cameras made.

Except the K3.

Even though I just liked your post without giving it much thought I would never take it back. So there!

That goes for the K-3 too btw. But as far as I've seen it doesn't come with a "like" button.

Does seem a bit odd. Maybe it could have usefulness checking for light leaks in the darkroom or the bellows of my Cambo 4x5?

That's OK. It is a free world, and if you choose to stay by the fire and imbibe in hot cocoa laced with some fine Scotch, I'll be in shortly to join you.

You know I'll be needing it after freezing my _____ off!

Still not gonna get a K3.

Yet.

I need to buy a Sharpie first.

Oh, and we're gaining on the "K3 sample shots" thread in number of views. Keep up the good work, folks! We might still get there!

(Wherever "there" is, I'm sure that's where we want to go...)

Why thank you, and no, I don't believe it does.

All the more reason to not get one.

A K3 that is.

Free world? I smell political talk here

But I'm all for hot cocoa. And Scotch. But never, ever would I blend Scotch malt with anything but a dash of water.

Cocoa with a dash of brandy would work just fine, though
