Not at all. That is one less opportunity for one to scream "buy me!" at me.

Certainly! -but not in this thread. Here, we care about why you won't buy a K-3, not whether you will.

We also care about what you had for lunch, if it involved cheese or bacon. It's a strange thread...

Or lutefisk, or igunaq.

Maybe it's in canoe transit across the Atlantic? Or do economy packages have to swim on their own?
I could arrange for a Canadian SAR team to check. The RCAF has a crack team of Sea King helicopters ready to go, 15 of them. (One service ready, 14 for spare parts.) And a squad of really mean beaver from Algonquin Park that fill-in when the operational 'copter is down. Provided they're not all too busy turning Norm and Tess' wilderness into swamp.

Is gaffers tape tough enough to contain a bacon-grease spill. Is it cheese-proof?
Can the seals, in the camera in question, handle bacon and cheese fingerprints. If not, then not getting it for sure.

Just looking for answers
edit: not expecting to find them here, so relax

I see a lot of seals up here. They're quite waterproof but I can't imagine getting them into a camera.

I remember way back when, the seals were harvested for their fur. I had a t-shirt that said, "Club Sandwiches, Not Seals" with a picture of a tasty sammich on it.

But no K3.

The PENTAX name will continue to appear on all of our interchangeable lens cameras, lenses and sport optics, while the Ricoh name will be reserved for our compact cameras."

I did see a possibly spurious pic of the new K31/2. Pentax clearly shows up on the inside of the battery cover.
