I could arrange for a Canadian SAR team to check. The RCAF has a crack team of Sea King helicopters ready to go, 15 of them. (One service ready, 14 for spare parts.) And a squad of really mean beaver from Algonquin Park that fill-in when the operational 'copter is down. Provided they're not all too busy turning Norm and Tess' wilderness into swamp.
Ah, but then the Norwegian Sea King squad is waaaay more efficient. They have only 12 and still one operational (most of the time). The really great thing with flying 40+ year old 'copters is that the maintenance cost is huge, and getting spare parts is increasingly difficult.

We haven't come very far with the training of our beavers, though. It's hard to find good beavers these days.

Maybe where you are...

We can reasonably expect to have beach weather 10 months of the year.
Only 10 months? So sorry. 12 months here...

(and so much beach weather means no time for buying K3s)

Enough levity about beaver, please. Next to Poutine, a beaver tail is probably the best known epicurean treat in Canada. Especially in our capital city, Bytown. (don't blame me, I ain't making it up.)

Levity? We are just happy that the folks in Nunavut enjoy their beaver.

Hmm, just got message that I've received a package from the US of A. I guess the beavers did their job after all! But not cheaply. I have to pay for customs and handling before they'll let me have it.

Still won't get a K3, no matter how much innuendo we use.

That's almost pronographic.

And reason enough to keep the K3 at bay.

Huh?

What?

Who dares wake me from my slumber?

Who?

It really won't make me want a K3 any more!

They shipped it off to Siberia.

To the land of misfit K3's.

I can hardly stand the suspense; waiting to see if you survived. Surely the human body can't take that kind of abuse!!??!
