Blech! I don't like any of them. My husband, in the last 17 years, has had me try probably close to 100 different beers to no avail.

Ask him to buy you a lambic beer. Chances are you would like it. I am not sure I have ever met a woman that didnt like lambic beer

Single malt or blend? I like Johnny Walker Red. Had a bottle of Blue as a Christmas gift from Mrs. waterfall 2.0 a while back. Sipped it for eight months. Never spoil good Scotch with water, soda or ice. I can't buy a K3 until I get another bottle of JW Blue.

Depends on your taste.

Certainly won't go with a K3!

Single malt all the way. But I agree, spoiling it with soda is a crime. Ice is almost as bad, but can maybe be excused is very hot climates. Some water, on the other hand, can actually release different flavours and aromas. Sometimes a few drops, sometimes a dash, sometimes nothing.

I have yet to taste a cask strength malt that wasn't better with a dash of water.

But pure water, by all means. Not the vile chlorinated recycled sewage they call drinking water in certain parts.

My water comes from an artesian spring, about 100 feet from my house. Sweet, a light hint of minerals, straight out of the well and into the tap.

Perfect for a splash into some good Scotch.

Tasty!

And no place for a K3!

Steve
I was thinking to myself just last Sunday what on earth could have possessed August A. Busch to imagine that Scottish Draught Horses pulling an English dray wagon guided by two men in Bavarian Livery accompanied by a Croatian spotted dog had to do with an American beer marketed under a stolen Austrian brand name.

He delivered a wagon-load of beer to the President at the White House in that rig the day Prohibition ended - and it stuck.

As soon as it is warm enough I'm driving over to Grant's Farm (yes, AAB bought U.S.Grant's homestead) to take pictures of Clydesdales frolicing in the meadows. It's about 15 minutes from here.
