I just threaten to rip their lips off!
You know you have a teenage girl when you say hi to them and they bust out bawling, run up stairs and slam their door! Fixed that problem with one door slammer, removed the door! Two girls and three boys later, should of had dogs instead! WHAT WAS I THINKING!! Oh yeah..

Like your attitude, Racer. Good luck missing the ice storm aimed at Georgia.
Thank you, that means a lot to me!

And thanks for the good wishes for the drive too!

Yes, but I don't always get much time to stop and check things out. Sometimes I make a little time, but after almost 5 years and over a half a million miles there are now hundreds of places I want to go back to.

I do love being a nurse. Some days are busier than others, more hectic than others, but I truly do love nursing. It is physically, mentally & emotionally demanding though.
As long as you can get to the end of the day, and look at yourself in the mirror and like what you see, you are doing fantastic!

Everclear and orange juice 50/50!!! Actually about killed a friend once with that concoction! He was thinking it was a proper drink, took a big swig and about choked! Oh the language!! I still blush when I think of it!
P.S. I gave up that silliness after highschool
There was an open party when I was in college, Easters Weekend. I was somewhere in this photo but I was clean and sober.

They bought 4 fresh 40 gal. Rubbermaid trash cans (1 per Year). The Fraternity mix was 15 gallons of Everclear, 30 cans of Hi-C Fruit Punch (remember that stuff in the half gallon cans?) and 15 bags of ice. Stir with the unshaven left leg of a Sorority girl. Reportedly some people had to drive as far as West Virginia to get Everclear - it was cleaned out of central Virginia.

Bring a clean 1 gallon milk jug and 4 feet of clothesline. Fill the jug, tie the handle to a belt loop and you're good for Sunday afternoon.

Until 1970 University of Virginia was all-male. By 1975 the women had not yet civilized us. By 1978 it was over.

And that is why I will not buy a K3.

That "building" is a very dirty looking dumpster.

Sure would keep hociR away.

You'd love it up here then, Dansamy. You'd get to try your hand at everything from obstetrics to ER traumas that would make your head spin. Your consulting physician is 150 miles away by phone and you get to do it 24/7 since the Health Centre is usually shot-staffed. I love our nurses for their dedication. I don't know how they do it.

At the time I was 'committed' in the old Virginia sense to a nice young lady. I was therefore on my best behavior. She subsequently 'un-committed' me.

That was the Pledge facility normally located behind the Phi Gam (PheeGee) house.

At that age women want a man that is expert in the art of mass consumption.

Mepps!

Pledge facility? Knowing the initiation rituals to various fraternities I'm afraid to ask!

Ever heard of the Shellbacks?

I think hociR would approve, even join in!

Tell me 'bout it. I've received more than one...

But I have only pledged not to buy a K-3, not not to acquire one some other means. You know, by winning one, stealing one, whatever.

And I'm sure it would make a very nice door stopper, don't you think? As long as the backside of it doesn't show?

Congratulations Jean!

You could trade it for a trip to Oklahoma.

Nah, that would actually be a reason to get one.

Which in itself is a reason not to get one.

The results from the cross country ski sprint in the Olympics would imply that Norwegian women are the fastest in the world.

And I'm not even mentioning beavers here, since I'm sure the Canadian ones are faster!
