Me, too, but I really do not have enough time nor care about the BIG forum ... "Alphabet Race", "I Spy", "Scavenger Hunt" ... plus lens threads ... like "Soviet" lens, etc ... a small group of regulars makes things fun, easy and stress-free ... come join us ... J

No, it's metaphor for the actual meaning of parallax.(an object viewed along two different lines of sight has a different apparent position relative to other objects). Well, things viewed from the head and from the heart appear different. The same for left brain/right brain, etc. It's more of a reminder to myself that if you split the difference between two different viewpoints right down the middle, you'll usually get pretty close to reality.
