Well, it's certainly not the genuine article. It's a customized car, much like people make time machines from DeLoreans.

And why not Ive had a K20D since launch day almost, 2 K-7s off and on... Its time I stepped up and upgraded.
"A Man for All Seasons". Richard Rich sold out Thomas More, condeming More before Henry VIII for the Chancellorship of Wales. "It profits a man nothing to give his soul for the whole world ... but for Wales, Richard?"

There are rules on this thread?
Have they been published? Where?
The first rule of WIWBAK3 thread is: You don't talk about WIWBAK3 thread.
The second rule of WIWBAK3 thread is: The forum rule that says "Do not post meaningless threads, nonsensical or one word replies" is, quite obviously, unenforceable.

For my purposes the phone camera is probably as good as a K-3. The rest of the phone will do cool stuff like wi-fi and local ad hoc private wireless network and Bluetooth and GPS and automatic upload to Facebook and/or Flickr. It even allows me to make voice/video calls to my friends, should I ever make any.

I might buy a K-3 when it can do all of those things and do them without a FLU Card, but not before.

Steve
Wow!! You forgot music and movies on your phone!!

But on mine, if i make an appointment using the phone feature and I want to put that appointment with a Contact in the Calendar, attach a document or photo and send an email confirmation I can't do it in one app. I have to do it 4 times or I have to wait until I am on my Wi-Fi network, do all that on a computer and let the Cloud handle it. If I remember.

Pentax could upstage Apple!!

It could be one of the surviving K.I.T.T. cars - according to Wiki , about 5 of the 22 cars built for the show still exist.

One is in Indiana:

And there are a few surviving General Lees:

But there is only ONE of these:

Why was the "K2000" labeled "K-m" in Europe (France) ... the TV show was entitled "K2000" according to my wife (this was long before my time in France) ... not the same ill-fated name as the "K-7" (pronounced "cassette" in French) ... the old joke in France was whether your K-7 (cassette) was a "VHS" type or a "Betamax" type or a ... well, you get the picture J

And let's not start about the "Q" name in French ...

Another reason why I won't get a K-3 ... no embarrassing name dilemma ...

What a car idea ... stainless steel panels, thus impossible to do body shop work ... It's like you gotta be on cocaine to think up an idea like that ... Eh, wait a second, what was John DeLorean charged with by the Fed's ... and beat it, without calling any defense witnesses, according to Wiki ?!

Another reason not to get a K-3 ... no Robo-Cop/Time Machine stainless steel body armor/embellishments available ... yet.
