No spares for that old machine.
The previous owner pulled those wheel ends apart. The rear ones to reline the brakes (it only has brakes on the rear set), the front to clean, lube and adjust the bearings. Apparently he felt the need to paint them.
Of course he didn't use machinery yellow, and he didn't prep them well, and the paint is peeling.
I put new tires on it shortly after I bought it. 6 new tires (installed) cost as much as I paid for the thing, $3,000. The tire shop sent a kid out to do it, his boss told him it should be a 2 or 3 hour job. He wrestled with one tire for about 6 hours. They were the original tires, and the beads were rusted to the wheels. After getting one off he called the shop and they sent 3 other guys out.
The first guy showed up at about 8am.
They finally got the last one on at about midnight.
I don't think the boss understood me when I told him the thing was almost 60 years old.
