I do build my own computers and more often rebuild my own computers.
Not cutting edge stuff but functional. Didn't grow doing it. In fact I didn't have a PC until 2000! A Windows ME machine!
My son is the computer guru and I have been shadowing him to learn all I can! My laptop is a hand me down Dell that I got for free.(I'm really cheap!)

My latest PC cost a total of $250 for all components! Not cutting edge but very workable! Son picked out the components and we built it as a team.
We used a gaming box for ease of access and upgrade. Which works well when I have to yank the hard drive out of the laptop and plug it into the PC like yesterday!
