It waxes & wanes. Posting isn't hard, obviously. It's posting content that will prompt somebody to hit that dang like button that is sometimes difficult. And I'm not above begging, bartering or just plain out groveling!

This contest seems to have made people more reluctant to "like" a post, no matter how much you try and help people.

I know! And I'm really quite generous with the likes. I do try to like at least one post from each of our regulars in here every day. Occasionally, I miss somebody.

You mean in this thread? Sure, I can "like" stuff that makes me laugh, but generally I spare my likes for good pictures and helpful posts. Not too many of them here Apart from good reasons not to buy a K-3, of course

But when I post pictures people like, well, then they "like" them. I think that's supposed to be the spirit of the post-a-thon...

Which is why I won't buy a K-3

...and wow, I ended on top of yesterday's list. Are people getting slow around here?

Looks to be the likes that "saved" me - I certainly wasn't the top poster.

Need to dig up some more pictures to post

Cinderella showing major cleavage? Aw that's nothing. Actually in the very first Cinderella tales it was a fur slipper she supposedly had and lost. Not glass. There are some really bawdy Cinderella tales out there now. Shoe fetish stuff, body hair related stuff. You would be amazed at how ribald an old fairy tale can be sometimes. Originally fairy tales and nursery rhymes they weren't for the children and they were far darker than they are now. Red Riding Hood, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty they all had some really nasty elements sometimes. Rape, necrophilia cannibalism, murder, pedophilia, references to plague etc. Stuff I would never want my nieces reading...

Yes, I'm aware of the darker origins of our common fairy tales prior to them being Disneyfied.

Your images are well worth the "likes" ... (you should reference/cross-post'em here) ... and "Congratz" on being the daily winner ... not easy IMHO for someone who lives on the wrong side of the Atlantic ... J

Yeah, I suppose the Hawaiians will have an advantage in the daily contests

Posting pictures here might be too much for the great m0dErAt0r as it would make this look too much like a photo forum
