I always used "Bob's Binding and Serging," but never understood the term before your post.
I once knew a fellow named Serge. Perhaps he worked for Bob?

(...yes, I do know how to sew...doesn't everybody?)
I only use 20 pound test monofilament to make stitches. I figure it will outlast me. The knots are a bit scratchy. I think Wife 2.0 could use an overlock machine.

Is the FA 31 pre-hociR? If so, no problem. You will still be admitted to this Thread.
That's not helping

I want to know why I should not buy a FA31. Come on, how hard can it be?

Ah, much better! Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's toxic. Much like hociR's armpits.

Serge was in the movie "Beverly Hills Cop." Serge offered an espresso to Axel Foley, Detroit detective, in the corrupt Beverly Hills Art Gallery/dope smuggling operation. Serge appeared again in Beverly Hills Cop 3 or 4.

I remember Serge told Axel, "I make it (the espresso) myself, with a little bit of lemon."

And the K3 is not served with lemon!

There is only one reason not to buy a 31 ltd.. it's too much money, if they were $400, I bet everybody would have one.
That's why I won't buy another K-3. I need to buy a 31 ltd.

I think you got that backward. Does the Siren come with a K3? Because while a Siren alone can be resisted - if she's holding a Hocir, savocheIsDoomed!

Well of course, Pixie Dust is toxic and addictive as well. We who sniff the dust may have as well drunk the Kool-Aid, because we are doomed to LBA.

Speed of Lightning, Roar of Thunder

K3 has one endearing, undeniable, irresistible element of character that even hociR paint cannot hide. K3 is --

So you're saying I'll end up $1650 poorer and an eviction from this thread?

Serge had a bag of pixie dust and that dust saved him!

Check with Parallax, but I think Apostates are welcome here, on the off chance that they might sell the hociR K3 for a pound of pickled herring.

Nah, a K-3 + FA31 wouldn't be much compared to e.g. a new car. Which I won't buy. So that's not a valid argument for me. Heck, a year of smoking would cost me more. And I don't smoke. So the money's there. I need something better than that.

The K200/2.5 I talked about earlier has been sold now, so I'm safe there! He still has a A*200/2.8, though - for the same price as the FA31 in question.

With all this pressure there is no way I can get a K-3!
There is no such thing as a good reason not to have a 31 Ltd.

The only thing that would get you evicted is too many on topic posts, but I think there's little chance of that.

Cheese! I mean Cheers!
