I always found it funny how people (read city folk) have no clue how food like eggs come into the world. Having butchered chickens I know that there is only one orifice, and eggs is not the only thing that come from it.

Yup. I've always wondered how many people watching that actually got the joke.

I have eaten beef brains may times. Mostly scrambled with eggs. Quite tasty, actually.
The wife's favourite treat if we get a caribou is the head. The whole head, skinned and roasted. Even if she doesn't get a friend over, it's stripped down to bone in 30 to 40 minutes. Eyes, crispy cartilage from the ears, brain, tongue - the whole thing. It's like watching a very hungry Pirahhna.

Then she complains all evening that she ate too much. Go figure.

Is there a difference? Both involve a lot of tripe.

Has anyone here ever tried chocolate covered crickets? I hear they are crunchy and have a nice nutty taste.
Chocolate grasshoppers, yup. Taste a little like chocolate-covered grass.

They raise a lot of beef in Montana...he may have known something we don't.

I had one, and the butter and garlic certainly made it palatable, but just the thought was enough to keep me from adding it to my list of foods I will eat again.
Sooo...what is the difference between escargot and abalone or conch? The size of the shell, perhaps? All three are snails.

Just curious; when you wear those, if you click your heels together 3 times and say "There's no place like home", do you end up in Kansas?
No she ends up in Tokyo with hociR...

well Native Americans treasured the beast's skull and we now know that the calory and fat content of brain and organs exceeds llean muscle tissue. So when it is very cold outside, eat brains instead of chicken fingers!
