Oops ... forgot French blood sausage, "Boudin Noir" which is quite good, great with apples ... J

In the spirit of the season, how about deep fried moon pies?

Fascinating - it seems like most cultures have a blood sausage. I have not heard of boudin noir before.

Yeah, if you "wiki" blood sausage or "blood pudding", it seems quite common ... and I really did not realize this until a few moments ago when I did it ... J

Eww! I'd rather have deep fried moon pies. And I don't even like moon pies!

In other news, our post-a-thon is nearly over. T-19 hours & counting. Maybe when I get home, I'll post some more pictures. I will say this positive thing about post-a-thon: I've gone through & really *looked* at my pictures. And some of them *really* surprised me. I'm not an artist. I'm not a photographer. I'm a mom with a camera. But every once in a great while, there's one that I come upon that just surprises me. I really need to stop & look at the world around me every now & then. It's not half bad!

Me, too ... a dad with a camera that aspires to be a better "photographer/photo image artist" ... I have had a few nice ones as well, but it's a good hobby/distraction for me at this moment and a wonderful way to document life's events ... like the growing up of kids, changing of seasons, oddities of life, etc. ... and this forum is very nice in that it's pretty laid back and very friendly ... still need to curb my insatiable LBA/CBA/GAS tendencies ... but, that's another story and definitely in another thread(s) ... What's the old saying about "monkeys and typewriters" ... same with me and shutter counts ... every once and a while a "masterpiece*" is born !!!

* "Masterpiece" for me is a "post-able" snap ...

When opened this post I expected to see some comparison between the K3 and the OP's curent camera. some insight into ergonomics or, intelligent use of their set up that would mean no need for the advances of the K3 not this nonsense.
Buy yourself a Canon and be done with it

If I had children of my own, and that was the only way the chose to communicate with me, we would not talk.
