Cuban coffee is the same sort of fuel...explains a lot about certain aspects of life in Miami
Years and years ago I had to cut caffeine (doctor's orders, y'know). Did it gradually over about two or three weeks. I haven't eliminated it totally -- I do have one (um, large) regular brew before hitting the road for work, otherwise there would be some difficulty driving a long distance at oh-dark-thirty. I take my own thermos of decaf to work; the boss has been known -- I am not making this up! -- to brew office coffee with garlic in it.
Only he knows why...
