That is cruel and unusual punishment, sir. But it's probably A Good Thing that there's no such den establishment nearby here. I'd be in big trouble... for ice cream we do have a Cold Stone Creamery in the neighborhood (possible there to construct a Death by Chocolate treat), but for decent chocolate, one must visit the high-end food $tore$. And I'm a purist, I don't want any foreign matter in/with my chocolate. No nuts, fruit, none of it.

Well, I agree to a degree.
How about a bite of a banana and a sip of plain yogurt with that sweet bite of the ultimate chocolate. See, it can be healthy

Nabisco makes "chocolate wafer" cookies (if you can find them, look near the ice cream in the store; rarely in the cookie aisle). Pretty much an Oreo without the "stuff".

Can't buy a K3, I stocked up on chocolate...

Repeating myself (from another thread)...

Hand over the chocolate and nobody gets hurt...

Mr. Orchid describes the chocolate I prefer as "weapons grade"...
Weapons Grade.

Has a nice ring to it.

A factory?

Nice.

Yes Sir.
If I was made to make a choice. Chocolate would be right there with Bacon, cheese, blood-pancakes, liver-casserole, pickled herring, rutabaga casserole and Valio yogurt.
How about chocolate covered bacon?

Hmmmmmm???????

Drive by there from time to time. Do they have truck (RV) parking?

Chocolate peanuts.

Chocolate peanut clusters.

Chocolate cashews.

Chocolate pecans.

Chocolate almonds.

Chocolate walnuts.

Chocolate raisins.

Turtles. Now there is a chocolate/nut conglomeration!

Hershey's almond bar.

Ben and Jerry's triple chocolate brownie ice cream.

Chocolate fudge brownies with walnuts.

Chocolate fudge brownies with pecans.

I could go on.

Should I?

No, thanks. Ripe bananas are great, love 'em. Yogurt, not so much (although I have a 'fridge full of the stuff now to get my plumbing back on track after two courses of antibiotics ). But I don't mix 'em with my chocolate. No accounting for taste...important thing is that you enjoy it.

Having grown up in the San Francisco Bay Area, that was a staple. Nothing beats Ghirardelli. Nothing.
