Yes, most likely the K3 successor, since it is so fast it takes pictures of the future.
Well, you were there. hociR was nowhere to be found.

Here is one for you...When time travelers return from the future, do they refer to their experiences there in past tense?

Because the future holds better things than hociR.

Good question.

This calls for action! They can have the apples (and K3), bacon belongs to us.

This thread is indestructible and will continue to snowball. It will be known by future generations as "The Great Thread" or "The Thread to End All Threads" or maybe "The Thead That Ate Tokyo"

That's a mutant. This is the virus' source vector. Quarantine it before it is too late because . . . . . .

It's spreading . . . . .

If indeed that post signaled the end to this thread, we need not fear for I am confident that those that truly care will spend at least another 2000 posts wailing and moaning with ritual scarification in the depths of grief over its passing...

I cannot but wonder if that thread will turn me from a philanthrope to a misanthrope. I viewed that thread with trust in my heart and was completely put-off with it's abuse of animals, wide-screen T.V.'s and Pentax engineers. How could anyone stoop so low? Posters over there can't even spell hociR properly.

(Misanthropy develops when without art one puts complete trust in somebody thinking the man absolutely true and sound and reliable and then a little later discovers him to be bad and unreliable...and when it happens to someone often...he ends up...hating everyone)

I may have no choice but to wrap up all my gear in igunaq and use it for polar bear bait.

Looking at the B&H website I just may pull the trigger on a K3. They have a heck of a deal going on. Get a K3 with a 50mm. 18-135mm, and the BG-5 Battery Grip for $1646.95. Skip the 18-135 WR lens and it drops to $1296.95.

Something new in the works soon?

That's okay. It's bound to happen every once in a while that somebody mistakes this for a k-3/photography related thread.

I'm hungry.

And a K-3 wouldn't help me one bit! I've checked, and the thing does not have any inbuilt game tracker, no gun barrel, no fish electrocuter... It's even useless as a berry picker!

I'll bet the darned thing is too sturdy to be trampled flat to be used for digging up roots, even.

Useless!!

What a beautiful piece of kit. But only 4,700 units? Must be getting advice from hocirR's marketing division; create a niche, create expectations and then drop it off a cliff.
