You had better add rock climbing and big mountain skiing to the list too...Oh, and don't forget cave diving.

Eh, don't feel bad. It's just buggy software.

The mouth / brain interface module is, unfortunately, on the other X chromosome - or so I am told. Repeatedly.

That's countered by the fact the the information that prevents the human brain from comprehending what a thermostat is for, or how it works, is contained in the, what is commonly depicted as, the lower right leg of the second x chromosome.
( okay, I'm going to catch hell for that. )

Rather what you mean, I think, is the lower right leg also contains a logic-blocker module.*

An amazing truth. Mrs. jac's ancestors and mine diverged tens of thousands of years ago somewhere near the Indus probably. But the gene for counter-intuitive thermo-regulation lives on in her as it does in women of Indo-European descent. If one is cold, the thermostat is turned up ten degrees in the firm belief that the boiler will heat the house faster. As I write this, Mrs. jac has opened the upstairs windows because, physics be-damned, it isn't the inordinate amount of BTU's that she added to the atmosphere in here but some aberrant, residual heat from today's sun that made the bedroom hot. Meanwhile, the five year-old came to me asking why it's cold down here in the living-room. Currently working up the nerve to ask her to shut the window.

Naw, not worth it.
