A lot of things are hiding in plain sight in Missori...even more in Arkansas.

You ought to hear my brother's twisted understanding of private ownership. (He is a commercial lease broker and drives a Lexus - but that isn't private property, it is personal property).

My father paid for that!!

Yuppie scum!!!

Another rule: If you come in contact with a peace activist, don't ask them if that's "peace through superior firepower"? They will get angry and not peaceful at all!! Some people really can't take a joke!

I should play with some of my superior firepower on my property tomorrow. I also need to finish up on my planting, though I will likely wait until the severe weather event from tomorrow afternoon through Tuesday evening is over.

Those were true enemies - true wreckers. These are merely comfortable, tenured, credentialed elites who would sit in the halls of power and instruct the less erudite and educated how to conduct their own lives for their 'own good'.

While driving their Priuses 85 miles an hour on I-70 between St. Louis and Columbia - and flipping off anyone who presumes to slow them from their mission.

The anti-hippy guy was Spiro Agnew, do I have to teach you guys everything? Richard Nixon was the guy who finally did what he hippies had been telling everyone to do for years and got out of Vietnam, a sort of hippy hero if you will.

I assume we're discussing history here. Since political discussion is not allowed on the forum, this is merely a discussion of documented historical fact, right?

That's right. A Prius would do about as much damage as a dragonfly. Something that could be wiped off at the next fuel stop with the scrubber and squeegee.

Easy Squeezy

No Pain

No Stain

(well except unless you count the goo left over from the nutjob in the Prius!)

Somewhere between Boonville and the Sedalia exit.

Every time I cross the Show Me on I-70 there is at least one 4-wheeler tangled up in that silly cable that they put in to keep vehicles from crossing the median. And then there are a couple semi trucks that have done the same. The Mega Carriers chew through a lot of labor, and will put anything with a pulse in the seat.

Inexperienced drivers abound.

I could write a book.

More like and encyclopedia.

The thing is, I-70 through Missouri is narrow, and most of it does not have much of a shoulder. There is little room for error. Put a tire wrong, and at 75 plus things get ugly in a hurry.

Of course it is a discussion of history. All that stuff happened a long time ago, in fact before some of those discussing it were even a gleam in their daddy's eye!

We would never discuss anything political... when you discuss Spiro, I'm not even sure what we're discussing... the man defied categorization... unless "huh what did he just say, I really wish he hadn't said that ?" is a category.

So it is political for as Bismark said, "Never believe anything in politics until it has been officially denied."

You wouldn't have liked the history I backspaced over before I hit submit then.

I think the Prius guy was probably late for his bacon and cheese quiche.
