Norm !!! You're "golden" ... # 9000 !!! No Ibuprophens needed ... fry some bacon and open a beer. You deserve it !

Krasnogorsk? What's so weird about that? Fits well with your thing for readheads

At least it ain't no hociR!
It indeed is a sad day when you deal enough in Russian lenses to transliterate the Cyrillic on the fly. I did.

It is only a matter of time, however, before the dreaded хоциР is found there as well. When that happens, I will also have to not buy KMZ.

This week, I won't get a K3 because I'm too busy processing the great images I got with my K-30 last week in Alaska!

What did I miss - who is Musta?

Never learned Russian, or the Cyrillic alphabet but I can make do with the Greek one for getting some sense from Russian. Was a great help reading the manual for a Rubinar lens. Even made sense and when I tested my interpretation with a Russian colleague he was quite impressed.

Musta is short of Mustafa, and he's undoubtedly related to Rashid ad-Din Sinan, who's believed to be related to Knight Templars, and here we go, the full circle: livE hociR is definitely a part of centuries-long conspiracy!!!1!

[this, perhaps, is my last post, but they're clever, so they won't do anything, because otherwise they'd prove their existence and their livE ways..]

Yeah, that was him I like my PᎡnᏔx, so I don't need either a RᎢcᎣh or its dark mirror twin ᎰcᎢr...

(what the heck, as long as we're bouncing around the alphabet world we might as well enjoy a taste of the Cherokee syllabary )

ESII - silver was less common than black in North America.

Recently, in a search for a Super Takumar or S-M-C 55/1.8 to use with my SV (I already have a suitable S-M-C 50/1.4 so I'd thought to get a different lens) I stumbled across a black Honeywell SP-F and Super Tak 55/1.8. Then I found a black Asahi Spotmatic. Then a friend dropped off a black Honeywell ES and a black Honeywell ESII, boith with SMC 55/1.8's mounted (maybe one of them was Asahi - whatever). There was also an 8-element with a dented filter ring and a Super Tak 50/1.4 with a loose cosmetic trim ring. And a Vivitar Auto-Tele 135/2.8 (28xxxxxx Kiron) and 35/2.8.

These guys are just cleaning out their basements before they move from the large house to the condo - but I smile and say thank you very much!!

What a surfeit of riches!!

So, to the point of this confession --- I humbly beg the Thread Master its indulgence and forgiveness of my historical transgressions as I do my penance and return to my Pentax roots.
