Hmm, quiet around here. Is everyone out buying the K-3, under the influence of the hociR? Must be that shinier new version.

Y'all come back when you're finished placing your orders.

Yeah, they all fell for the bling-bling version. Sad, isn't it. So easily snared by the hociR.

I was out buying bacon @ $28/kg. Can either eat or buy gear. I do have a nice fatty chunk of seal meat in the freezer but I'm saving it for Mrs. jac.

Nope - just had a Frisco Bacon Thickburger while I waited for an oil change.

I'll probably hafta go in for an oil change myself after that burger. Hopefully I won't need to have any more fuel lines bored out.

No K3 here. Was busy on FB communicating with the kids when they were in Finland.

Warning - be very careful of the New FB Messenger App on your smartphone. If you update it, be sure to read the permissions you grant FB (use your camera, your microphone, your contacts list, your GPS Locator, your email history, your Message history, the apps you use and just about anything else they might be interested in using) to profile you for targeted ads. They promise they won't misuse your private, personal information.

Do you really trust Facebook to have unlimited access to all that, to use at their discretion and as they wish?

Talk about mark of evil - hociR ain't nuthin'

Thank`s for the heads-up.
I had sworn never to join, but it was the easiest way to keep in touch, without paying through the nose for international calls.

I neglected to include Access your Photos! Goodbye Copyrights on iPhone images.

When my daughter did her semester abroad in Dublin we Skyped once a week, which I think was free, and she maintained an extensive daily photo / commentary blog that filled in a lot of information. Sometimes the Blogpost Comment strings were a hoot - kind of a slow-motion conversation.

Of course it was open to the world, so we saved some subjects for Skype.

Back when I was traveling international for work I used Skype a lot to talk with my wife and kids. It did cost but $10 would last two weeks worth of conversations.

Of course we always avoided the topic of the dreaded hociR because we knew that it would cost far too much to settle the kids back down.

I'm around, but it is the weekend, and weekends were made for Michelob.

Oh, and working on the Honeydos.

The wrath of Mrs. Racer is far worse than the scorn of the mighty hociR.

Trust me.

Not gonna happen. I have far too many reasons to not buy a K3.

Just ask Mrs. Racer.

Wasn't someone whining recently about the silver finish scratching off of their spanking new hociR 3K?

Have Skype, seems buggy, not sure what was going on with it. Maybe it is coded by hociR.

Some things are universal, aren't they? Mrs. Parallax is meaner than a striped-ass spider; but, some would say, she has reason to be.

Mrs. monochrome's burning scorn is far, far worse than the whimpering hociR's puny wrath. She is possessed of a biting sarcasm, a Seven Sisters sharp tongue. Her language can be . . . . colorful.

But she thought the new lens was . . . . "Wow! Pretty cool!"

Amazing, isn't it? Mrs. jac's relatives turned right at the Red Sea 60,000 years ago while mine headed Northeast, hoping to invent wine, beer and bacon. But the gene responsible for "Try that again, mister, and I'll cut your heart out and feed it to the cat!" seems not to have undergone any significant mutation.
