Does Ricoh make cameras? I didn't know that.
My first SLR was a Ricoh XR2S.

Damn fine camera. Still have it. I would use it too, but I find my Pentax DSLR gear produces similar results without having to go buy film, and then have it developed afterward. And of course there is the whole darkroom thing.

Dangerous chemicals, darkness, what a great combination.

I had a choice between trying to save Toyko and Gopro hero3+. Went with hero... HociR not even a consideration.

Wasn't that the company that made the Furby? Evil little things!

Sounds like your average frat party!

That was humor! Not to be confused with the ongoing fear and loathing of the evil hociR! Everything should be properly marked so as to not scare anyone away! Or have them freak out!

Yeah ... that's our laundry room after the renovations. Think that I will paint the walls mat black so that it's a REAL darkroom !!!

Another reason "why I won't buy a K-3" TM ... paint is expensive in France.

I did a darkroom in matt black years ago, in my parents house. My dad complained bitterly about the number of coats it took to get it white again! Recently I painted a whole wall in the Family Room with blackboard paint for the kids. Looks cool and you can write on it. Blackboard paint is quite expensive here though.

My then future wife loved the smell of darkroom chemicals in high school. I just liked chemicals!

I'm sure Steven Spielberg is thinking of the children, for the screenplay of " livE hociR: The Movie ", to be shot on location in Toyko. He will manipulate the audience to buy K3s by putting kids in danger... resistance will be futile...

But I ain't buyin' one, so there...

So the Borg will align with hociR to force kids to buy a K-3 and thus destroy Toyco! Now that's a screenplay! Better than the zombie squirrel attack I'm trying to market!

I never cared much for those. I always got along better with the stainless steel tanks. I found it easier to load the film on the spool.
