Sounds like great memories, Paul. I wish I could have had the opportunity to learn more first hand like that.

Yeppers - Stein's deli at Delmar Blvd. and North and South; Sunday mornings growing up I could bicycle there and back and the bagels would still be warm when I got home.

And did they care if an hour later I was reciting Rite One from the BCP?

Whaaaat, your money doesn't schpend?

P.S. - Jim Stein is still my friend. I sat Seder with his family several times and his grandfather patiently coached me on my lines of the Haggadah(?) in Hebrew until it was passable. Good memories.

You spelled that right, unless it is 1 g.

And you remind me of the seder with a family in London in the mid 90s. Now the father is passed on, sadly, and the son has a big job.

Happy Pumpkin Seeds Day to the world... My annual dose of punkin seeds has been harvested, seasoned, and dried. Ready to defend against any onslaught of lutefisk, lutebacon, or hociRs

That post is about photography and the K-3. That is far, far from normalcy for this thread.

Forgot about the contest. I already have all the lenses so I'm out, really.

This time I should pay out likes - do they count for something again?
