That is how the preposition "on" is appropriate. A place can have something put on it.

Now back to the main show, my wife was very excited at lunch today because she found a shop which has cooked ground bacon, which she can cook with this and that without first having to cook fresh bacon, thus saving time to eat the bacon. And it can be eaten straight from the bag too.
